The full story:

I was feeling lost with what I wanted from life and was struggling with being contained by anxiety over everyday stuff.

I signed up mainly because I loved Andrea’s approach. Her tone of voice, language and no nonsense attitude. I started by trying the free 6 day challenge as the money and time involved worried me, given my current predicament.

After the 6 days to decisiveness challenge I decided that BGL was definitely for me so I signed up fully!

I feel so much calmer overall.

I’m much more aware and able to recognise triggers and emotions earlier (thanks to Andrea) and am applying all of the techniques that Andrea taught me.

I had previously tried HeadSpace, Aura, Pacifica but had never stuck with them. I need the human interaction to help me learn. That’s what drew me to BGL so much.

The module breakdown, explanation and resources were just so brilliantly done.

The video modules were invaluable. Good length to fit into my hectic work/parent balance. Great combination with written resources.

The quizzes, mindfulness survey and progress tracking were fantastic. Love the progress tracking so I could see where I was.

The live group coaching calls were great. Nerve racking at first as you begin to meet and get to know others, but everyone was so open and supportive by the end.

The group of awesome humans were amazing.

To begin with you feel you’re alone, that you’re failing and everyone else is fine. Then you see you’re not and others need help and support too.

The Facebook group was excellent. It grew as you got to know everyone else and Andrea’s support in the Facebook group was so fab; supportive while also thought provoking.

The workbooks were absolutely invaluable for me.

Writing helps me work stuff out and remember. It breaks it down into manageable chunks so I loved this part of the course.

The module resources were such an invaluable addition to what we were being taught.

There was honestly not one aspect of the course that I didn’t enjoy. I just loved the combination of video, calls, reading and writing.

BGL gave me what apps alone could not: a real life coach and a support community.

Andrea’s approach was practical, clear and supportive. The community offered by others on the program was so supportive and open, it helped to show you that you are not alone with your issues and struggles in life and it gives you a space to talk and discuss these with others facing similar problems. I’ve gained invaluable techniques that I now apply to my daily life. I’ve gained so much knowledge and a support community. I’ll definitely be turning to Andrea again as my journey continues.

G'day, I'm Andrea

I'm a mindfulness facilitator and former cynical pessimist.

I used to be an awkward, pessimistic, overachiever.

Life looked good on the outside, but on the inside things were average.

I was indecisive, I didn't know what to do with my life, I self-sabotaged the hell out of my relationships.

I had a feeling I was going to keep f-ing things up for myself unless something radical changed.

The life handbrake-turn that followed over the next few years came as the result of learning what I now teach in my unconventional mind-taming program for indecisive overachievers - Bloody Good Life. Just practical, relatable techniques without any rainbow and butterfly jibber jabber.
