I felt really stuck with a couple of big decisions, and like I was going through the motions of life. I was ‘busy’ all the time, but chronically procrastinating and increasingly frustrated at myself because of it.

I’m now procrastinating less, calmer, and feeling significantly more creative & inspired!

The full story:

BGL set off a ripple effect of changes throughout my life. I now feel like I’m in the driver’s seat of my own life, I’m more active, procrastinating less, feeling calmer, more in tune with my emotions, and less reactive. I’m feeling significantly more creative and inspired than I have in years. As a result, I’m feeling freer and thinking bigger!

In the past I’ve given up on things as soon as I’ve missed a step or not met my own too-high expectations. The course taught me to embrace failure and not fear it!

BGL was really human, it didn’t reek of cheese in the way a lot of self-help books/courses do. Andrea guided us through it in a very thoughtful, kind, relatable and no-nonsense way.

Previously I’ve dismissed mindfulness as somehow selfish and self-absorbed, which couldn’t be further from the truth! I now understand how being mindful can help us be better for other people around us and the world in general.

Last week I caught Neville becoming as repetitive as that time my dad gave my 16yo self a party pill and I talked a random guy’s ear off. “I’m sad.” Neville mourned. “So sad. So lonely. I miss BGC. I’m alone. Alooooone. Sad and alone. Alone and sad. So sad. And...

How to freak out 12% less about COVID19

Yesterday I walked around the botanical gardens at 10pm crying like a madzer. At a couple of points, I properly wailed. Luckily the track was empty. Like many of us, I’m scared. I’m fragile as a leaf. I’m losing most of my income, and all my business security. I’m...
