NYVP has really helped me with my struggles by making me dedicate time to sitting down and really thinking about the important stuff. NYVP was a game-changer. It has really helped me to understand where I may have slid off the track in the past and how I can avoid doing it in the future.
The full story:
I had started a new career at the beginning of the year and basically felt very miserable about it. I felt like it really didn’t suit me, that it had taken over my whole life and maybe I had made a huge mistake going down that path, but, at the same time I didn’t really have any strong pull to do anything else. As someone that has bounced around a lot doing many different things I was wary that if I quit and started down a different path I may just end up feeling the same about the next thing I did.
When I saw the NYVP post on FB about living in line with your values, something just resonated with me.
I realised I had never really sat down and thought about my values. I felt that I always knew I had them and had some vague idea of what they are and how I live by them, but if someone had asked me what they were I would probably fumble a bit and struggle to actually define them.
NYVP really helped me with these struggles by making me dedicate time to sitting down and really thinking about this stuff.
It was a game-changer.
It has really helped me to understand where I may have slid off the track in the past and how I can avoid doing it again in the future.
I enjoyed the real-life examples that Andrea provided along the way. I also really liked how the workbook was structured. The workbooks and the video modules were really really valuable!
The module resources were awesome also. I loved doing the personality tests and some of the articles were really useful for my own personal journey.
