The full story:

 

So I was all OVER the show before I met Andrea… I think I was actually a little crazy – how I wasn’t a burnt out little mess I don’t know! I was supposed to be living the dream in London with great flat, great boyfriend, travelling every second weekend, fantastic job and fun loving friends. I was fit and healthy but for some reason I was exhausted, never energised, stressed, going from task to task. I had a mind that never stopped and wasn’t happy. I was running all over London from event to event and constantly thinking about what was happening next rather than enjoy each day as it came. I was a perfectionist and struggling to keep it all up & know what I really wanted out of life or how to appreciate life in the present.

After completing BGL 101 I feel armed with a variety of mindfulness techniques to help me tackle any situations that may arise in my work or personal life.

I’m definitely far less stressed. That is probably one of the major things that has impacted the way I sleep, work, react to different situations and deal with life. Overall my creativity has improved, and my task swapping.

I am finding myself able to appreciate things so much more, which makes me realise how lucky I am and how happy I really am.

My boyfriend says I am now happier and smiley-er which is really important, I am a lot more honest with him if something is irritating me, but no longer snap or get irritable, I try and talk it through.

Every session has been so valuable and I come away so energised with oodles of new techniques and simple exercises which have helped me so much. I have already recommend some of my friends to the course.
