Making Decisions & Finding Passion

Happy (more or less) Easter chaps!

My sources tell me (thanks Mum), that

New Zealand has disintegrated into chaos over Cadbury’s new “half egg” marshmallow eggs.

To my fellow Kiwis, my thoughts are with you at this challenging time.

I’m staying at a friends place up in Mullumbimby (near Byron Bay), taking a week to slow down, stare into the hinterland, and munch on half marshmallow eggs. Jaysus is the view from my temporary new office/ easter egg cave incredible! I even think it’s worth your while to go marvel at it over on my Insta story!

Also, if you’re feeling charitable, follow me (@projectself), I need your help to get a book deal one day! Apparently 12,000 followers on FB and a large newsletter list and a popular blog is now meaningless without Insta followers, even if you’re a writer and your work has nothing to do with pretty photos.

Goddamnit I cannot keep up with the young whipper snappers and their hashtaggery!

Also a heads up that in a few days I’ll be opening the Bloody Good Life Do-It-Yourself program for just 5 days.

If you definitely DO want to hear about BGL DIY, click here to join the waitlist.

In other news, my mind, Neville, thinks I’m a lazy b*&$ for trying to take a few days off.

Does your mind do that when you try to take a break? I know he’s just trying to keep me on track, but goddamn that chap is unhelpful sometimes!

In case you’re in need of slowing down and taking a break too, and in case your mind is also aiming for gold in the slave driving olympics, remind yourself – taking the advice of your mind is only 12% effective 29% of the time.

If you’ve been thinking of doing the much loved Bloody Good Life program, this is your last chance. BGL will be closing its doors from July this year.

Learn to tame your overthinking mind and get clear on your direction (plus a handful of other benefits you won't expect).
