I found Andrea while I was suffering insomnia and anxiety coupled with deeply painful feelings. Since working with Andrea I’ve found some hope again – and am able to work through my emotions far more effectively as I know I have some techniques and tools. I’d absolutely recommend (and already have a few times!) working with Andrea and BGL 101.

The full story:

I found Andrea while I was suffering insomnia and anxiety coupled with deeply painful feelings, I was regularly waking up in a panic with stress about my divorce and finances. Since working with Andrea I’ve found some hope again and I’m able to work through my emotions more effectively as she’s shown me the tools and techniques.

My stress levels still go up and down but now I’ve got the tools to deal with it.

Since BGL 101 I’ve become more aware of how tough I am on myself and the destructive impact this has. Having Andrea’s support helps me know that a lot of my thoughts are not real and my having them is more normal that I ever knew. Andrea has taught me I’m not a terrible person! I’ve learnt my setbacks are not what define me and I’ve got the ability to recognise that what my mind is doing is perfectly normal under the circumstances. This in turn has given me some space between myself and my thinking and has thus allowed me to have some compassion for myself and in turn even more gratifying, compassion for others. Andrea has helped me soften my attitude towards myself and others which is helping my relationships, my depression, my self esteem and my confidence.

I’d absolutely recommend (and already have a few times!) working with Andrea and BGL 101.

Gidday, I'm Andrea

I'm a mindfulness advisor and former cynical pessimist.

I used to be an awkward, pessimistic, mediocrely happy overachiever.

Life looked good on the outside, but on the inside things were average.

I was indecisive, I didn't know what to do with my life, I self-sabotaged the hell out of my relationships.

I had a feeling I was going to keep f-ing things up for myself unless something radical changed.

The life handbrake-turn that followed over the next few years came as the result of learning what I now teach in Bloody Good Life 101. Just practical, relatable techniques without any rainbow and butterfly jibber jabber.
