Today I decided to take most of the day off

Today I decided to take most of the day off because I worked all last weekend freaking out about my Pecha Kucha talk. Even though I’ve been working very long days while I’ve been in Bali (someone tear me away!), I STILL feel a pang of guilt for not working today. What is that?! Why… read more…

Multitasking: a recipe for meh

Multitasking: a recipe for meh

Today I took some sweet potatoes out of the oven, started humming a song, and thought – bugger I forgot to put music on. Took a few steps towards my iPhone, then thought, no, Andrea you idiot, put the sweet potatoes back in the oven first! Did an about turn in the middle of the… read more…

Check out my salary

Gidday, I'm Andrea

I'm a mindfulness advisor and former cynical pessimist.

I used to be an awkward, pessimistic, mediocrely happy overachiever.

Life looked good on the outside, but on the inside things were average.

I was indecisive, I didn't know what to do with my life, I self-sabotaged the hell out of my relationships.

I had a feeling I was going to keep f-ing things up for myself unless something radical changed.

The life handbrake-turn that followed over the next few years came as the result of learning what I now teach in Bloody Good Life 101. Just practical, relatable techniques without any rainbow and butterfly jibber jabber.
